I liked the format of Politically Incorrect better.

To each his own of course but it doesn't make sense to me to say F off to people who have been Republicans for years that didn't vote for Trump. We didn't tell people to leave the party if they didn't vote for McCain or Romney. Why do it now?

This is a very small sample size but I can think of close to a half dozen wife's of my friends that I know are Republican or right-leaning that didn't vote for Trump. They didn't become Democrats, they just didn't like/support Trump. To tell people like that to not vote Republican again doesn't resonate with me as far as trying to win future elections.

Regular voters definitely aren’t above reproach. But to me it’s a bifurcated argument. On one hand it’s saying if you don’t vote for the party nominee every election then leave the party. But then it’s if you didn’t vote for the party nominee in ‘08 and ‘12 that’s ok but if you didn’t do it in either of the past two elections then that is not ok.

We seen people such as President Obama, Dave Chapelle, Bill Maher and others push back (to a degree) against it. I think people mistakenly believe cancel culture is nothing more that people wanting to be able to say the n-word with no negative repercussions. That's really just a straw man at this point.

I can almost understand to a point. White people, generally speaking, don't want/like to be called racist. So even if they disagree with certain elements of #BLM, CRT or Ibram Kendi and the anti-racism movement they are afraid to speak out for fear of being called a racist and ultimately cancelled. But ultimately that's not beneficial long-term to have the fear inherent that open dialogue and discussion can't be had.
