It's a standard Trumpian tactic including being the first to use "gaslighting" in his attempts to turn attention away from the Crisis in Texas, currently 13 Million Texans lack access to clean water. Due to the damage done, even if utilities return to normal, the damage done means thousands, if not millions, of Texans will remain suffering for days or weeks to come. Local news states Texas was within minutes of the entire State grid collapsing and being out for months. IMO, that's equivalent to Katrina but 20 times worse because of the number of citizens involved. Texas has a population greater than Australia (26M) and close to Canada's 37M. 13 Million Texans do not have access to clean water. That's almost half the population. Ted? He's sipping margaritas so he's fine.

Ironically, it's what Trump effectively did after the Capitol Insurrection failed. Just like Trump refused to pardon or even help his fans who attacked the Capitol, Ted abandoned the very Texans who elected him. He's not running again for office which is one reason why he doesn't give a fuck.
