CNN anchor Chris Cuomo's criticism of a former Texas mayor on Twitter asking him to "resign or apologize" has led to a number of people on the social media network redirecting the tweet towards his scandal-hit brother.

Tim Boyd resigned on Tuesday as the mayor of Colorado City, Texas following a social media post in which he accused residents of being "lazy" for expecting government help in response to the winter storm that has left many dead.

Cuomo responded to a news article about Boyd's resignation on Twitter with the comment "Resign or apologize and learn and become a better leader?"

Twitter users were quick to point out that the same sentiment could apply to his own brother, Andrew Cuomo. The Governor of New York is currently facing scandal after New York attorney general, Letitia James, last month found that more than 15,000 nursing patients had died of COVID-19—much higher than the original 8,500 figure provided by the state.

The irony of Chris Cuomo's tweets was not lost on Twitter. Brad Polumbo, of the Foundation for Economic Education replied: "Now do your brother."

"Was this meant for your brother?" asked one person.

"I don't disagree, but considering the trouble your brother is in right now, should you really be making a tweet like this?," read another reply.

The sad thing but the Chris won't utter a word about this and will probably have some excuse why it's different for his brother. The double standard is too ingrained in them. They possess either a lack of willingness or ability to engage in introspection. They actually think they have done nothing to contribute to the disunity they supposedly lament. They won't even consider the possibility so this is a non issue to them.

I suspect he had it but as we have seen the left is less inclined these days to pretend there isn't a double standard. I agree they don't seem to be very nice people.

In a post on her Goop-like wellness blog Purist, Cuomo shared a laundry list of holistic methods she is using to tackle the coronavirus, including a “body charger” borrowed from a friend that sends electrical frequencies through the body, a vitamin drip done by a doctor who makes house calls to the Hamptons and what appears to be billions of milligrams of vitamins.

Yet one method rang decidedly unnatural: bathing in Clorox.

“Both days, I added 1/2 cup of Clorox to my bathwater to combat the radiation and metals in my system and oxygenate it,” she wrote of her routine.

If you’re thinking, “Um, come again?” you’re not alone. Bleach doesn’t seem like something we should be bathing in, pandemic or otherwise ― right? Right??

She is, it appears, not the only one curious about or engaging in the practice.

The Clorox website is clear about where it stands on the matter: No, it is not recommended to bathe in bleach. It details a scenario in which bleach is added to drinking water as treatment ― but that’s 1/8 of a teaspoon ― and to be used only in an emergency. “Using a bleach and water solution for bathing is not approved by the EPA and should not be done,” it states.

A doctor of infectious diseases in Blue York state said he didn’t even really know what to say about what he called “not mainstream or evidence-based medicine,” but explained that while bleach is an effective tool for decontaminating surfaces like, say, a bathtub, it is not advised to bathe with, and in fact could cause more harm than good.

To be fair to her Clorox is far weaker than pool chlorine but I doubt she bathed in full tubs of it, Im sure it was diluted. dopey rich housewife doing stupid shit to stave off boredom. Ah I see 1/2 cup of clorox into what I am sure is at least an 80 gallon tub wont do shit to you, good or bad. the idea it combats radiation and metals in her system and "oxygenate it" is cuckoo bannanas though. lol

Despite advocating for masks on his prime-time show, Fredo Cuomo has not been practicing what he preaches.

He’s also reportedly been marching around his apartment building without a face covering.

Fox News obtained a letter from management scolding him for not abiding by the rules and threatening a $500 fine.

It read, in part, “You have been observed entering and exiting the building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings.” It adds, “Even though staff members have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have *refused to do so.”

Meanwhile, it appears masks are optional in the Cuomo household.

In an interview with Elle, Fredos’ wife, Cristina, said, “When people come in my house, I leave it up to them whether they want to wear a mask or not.”

The couple both battled the coronavirus last year.

Fredo had recently said: “We are our own solution. Wearing masks, avoiding crowds, keeping your distance. It sounds simple, but we’re not doing it.”

He sure isn’t!
