McConnell: Trump is responsible for inciting riot

No, you genetic reject, I do not "say". The world works this way: If you make an affirmative declaration, you should be able to support it. Your claim is that there were voting irregularities. Not only do you not have any proof whatsoever, but your claim was given more than 60 opportunities in state and federal courts of competence and jurisdiction to prove itself to be true.

AND NOTHING. Now here you are -- more than three months later -- still schizophrenically repeating what we all know to be untrue. Seriously, how do you live with yourself? What was the tipping point in your mind when you made the calculated decision to throw away any integrity you had developed in your lifetime and turn into what you are now? What were those final factors? Are you achieving your goals related to that decision?

How about we try and stay focused lol.

It is YOU who is asserting that Trump incited an insurrection. So it’s up to YOU to prove, first that 1/6 was an actual insurrection; and second, that Trump *purposefully incited it*.

Good luck with all that.

My point is Trump *at least thinks* there was election fraud so, right away, he should be granted the right to prove he wasn’t lying in any *honest* legal proceeding.

If they don't want to train up, then they can be unemployed. I mean, surely you understand what a fucking tool you sound like. You want the government to block immigration because Americans have a right to be untrained and uneducated. You're pandering to the lowest common denominator and shitting all over conservative political philosophy.
it's not about "rights" it's economics. no one is "blocking immigration" - we want to stop illegal immigrants..
do you get this basic idea?
We also want to check COVID from entering our borders

You have got to be young, no one with any experience in the work force can be this naive
and unable to discern legal from illegal immigration, or so cavalier in their dismissal of hard working,
but low skilled Americans

Sweet Jesus! 2 hours???

I noticed this: “I do believe that automation, over a long enough period of time, will replace every non-creative job”. Let's say this is true.
In the DNA Lottery, some are going to come out on the short end of the stick. What is your suggestion for THOSE people?
robotics have already transformed the workforce ( say manufacturing) from labor intensive to skilled operators.

There is still some assembly, but the parts and subframes are largely sent along a line for the final assembly
whereas before all that sub-assembly (nuts/bolts/part) had to be done by hand

Walmart has a robotic janitor roaming the aisles. even fast food is transitioning to robotics

A SIL sent it to me and I had the same reaction. I was working outside for several hours so played it on my phone and headset. It was great. I've listened to it twice. Ravikant is very optimistic, factual and quite inspirational.

Trump also thinks he was Michigan's "Man of the Year," and that thousands of Muslims were celebrating on NJ rooftops on 9/11 - among literally hundreds of other whoppers.

Do you think 1/6 happens without Trump?

After Voting To Acquit, McConnell Torches Trump As Responsible For Riot

--- "There's no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day," McConnell said ---

Following Saturday's vote acquitting former President Trump, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell excoriated Trump for his actions on the day of the attack on the U.S. Capitol, calling them a "disgraceful dereliction of duty." But, he said, ultimately, he did not vote to convict the former president because of constitutional concerns.

"There's no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day," McConnell said shortly after the 57-43 Senate vote that ended in the former president's acquittal.

"The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president, and having that belief was a foreseeable consequence of the growing crescendo of false statements, conspiracy theories, and reckless hyperbole which the defeated president kept shouting into the largest megaphone on planet Earth."

McConnell rebuked Trump for his actions after the insurrection as well.

"He did not do his job. He didn't take steps so federal law could be faithfully executed and order restored," he continued

Yes. We've entered the stage where Machines are building Machines. The next stage is where the Machines, build the Machines that build Machines. :|

:) I've never gotten into watching something on a Computer for very long. I know I must be missing out on a lot. But I don't have the patience ... or the time.

If you look at the Population as a 'Pyramid', with the 'Gold Class' on top, the 'Silver Class' in the middle, and the 'Bronze Class' at the bottom, I don't worry much about the upper 2 Classes, I wonder about the bottom Class. What happens to those guys?

:) Well, that's a nice Pollyanna attitude.
Uh, on another note, there's a lot of people in Central America, "those people will need employment", and you claim: "but they will have jobs".
If they all have Jobs, why are they coming here?

That's not Pollyanna. That's 12,000 years of human civilization. I suggest you look them up.

Central Americans are immigrating to the US for higher paying jobs, security, peace, and freedom. That's an easy thing to look up too.

D: "What the fuck is your point?"
Jack: Too many people, not enough Jobs.

So what is your solution? Ban procreation? Or ban brown people so white people can pick strawberries in southern California? You realize how ridiculous you sound, I hope?

He was given every right ever afforded to any person.

:) I don't think you are being pragmatic or realistic. As the Planet begins to reach it's maximum carrying capacity and automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence begin to accelerate ... there's going to be (if we haven't already reached it) an inflection point of Too Many People, Not Enough Jobs.

But, it's nice to think that God will provide, everyone will have a job, all will be happy, and there's gold at the end of the rainbow.

So what is your solution? Ban procreation? Or ban brown people so white people can pick strawberries in southern California? You realize how ridiculous you sound, I hope?

The first and easiest thing is to put out a 'No Vacancy' sign. Zero Immigration.

Only movies. This is a podcast, I listen to shows, especially history podcasts, over my iPhone with a bluetooth dual headset. Occasionally I just listen to music.

It's not multitasking but when I'm working outside since a lot of the work is easy and/or repetitive. Listening to a podcast or a history lesson iTunes U is fun and makes the time pass quicker.

Illegal immigrants? Sure. They shouldn't be here.

You're concerned about COVID now? After a year? Don't make me puke up my pancakes.

I'm sorry that your life experience led you to promote laziness, lack of education, and disinterest in training. Most people are what they hate, after all.

sp stop this nonsense of "block immigration".
Trump actually wanted immigraton reform baed on merit

Just the reality of crap Kerry said like "let the pipeline workers get green jobs" isn't reality based.
It may be -but is not now.. meanwhile they are out of high paying union jobs
