I have a feeling that the reason they're allowing the House committee to make their case is so that maybe, just maybe, they will grow a pair and vote to convict. They can then present themselves as patriots, and tell the outraged Cult that the evidence presented was overwhelming and that there was no other choice.

In a sense, they are doing what many of us do here. We answer to conspiracy nuts and crazies like Stone, Grok , PP, and others knowing that nothing impacts them. But we are in fact talking past them to other readers who may have the ability to handle facts and understand what is dangerous and harmful to the future of America. America has not been in this kind of trouble since the Civil War days. The right is proudly doing real damage to America home and abroad. Wait until we go to an international conference and criticize other countries' violence after an election. We have lost that standing. We went from the shining house on the hill to a banana Republic in 4 years. And some rightys want 4 more.
