SUPERBOWL another slap in the face for trump and his band of trait

Maybe it is because I am not drinking for 60 days but I rate this whole effort today from front to back as uninspired....it felt limp...impotent....like American culture is running on fumes....like the creative class is spent....like CBS was phoning it in.

Tell me I am wrong.

This is what I mean:

For all the love the performance got, some didn't have quite as much fun watching the "Snowchild" singer dance and stumble his way across the stage and then the stadium itself. A number of people felt the camera work was a little too chaotic, and created a feeling of motion sickness. That's definitely the first time I can remember someone saying that about a Super Bowl performance, so I guess this is a historic moment? What do you say, Daniel Craig?

And as great as The Weeknd's singing and footwork was, there's no denying the strobe light effects and frantic camera movements could been seen as problematic for audience members susceptible to such things. Some complained about the intensity of the lighting and, of course, mentioned the motion sickness as well.

I mean come on man....the goal was to make fantabulous.

This most certainly was not that.

There is a difference: I heard this from some old black man on Tucker maybe 6 months ago...I dont know who it was cause I dont generally track sources I track ideas. He said that if you want to look at groups of people and name the groups that are most responsible for driving the Revolution, for the collapse of Constitutional America....near the top of the list is the group Wealthy Black Men.

Like are often found in the NFL.

^Capitalization tard :rofl2:

Trump desperately tried to CANCEL the NFL last year as he attacked players who took a knee to protest racial injustices, specifically racist murders of African-Americans by police. Trump claimed the league would fold and go broke, and he did everything he could to make that happen. He attacked the protests, proclaimed that kneeling players were “unpatriotic””and his band of goons followed his attempt to CANCEL the league, quick to point out lower attendance and gleefully hoping the NFL would go under.

Fast forward to today and trump has been kicked out of office in a humiliating defeat losing the election by over 7 million votes and he was impeached again solidified his place in history as the worst president to ever enter the Oval Office. Now he is facing even further disgrace for his traitorous role in the attack on the Capitol and American democracy, but it doesn’t stop there as he will soon be facing criminal charges for tax evasion and other criminal behavior along with his criminal family.

His supporters have proven themselves to be absolute morons and the true traitors with many of them behind bars and on their way to prison With long sentences. Many politicians who supported him find themselves ostracized and rejected, leaving trump’s party broken and in the wilderness, no longer able to hide behind the facade of “patriotism.”ever again.

As for the NFL that trump and his goons tried to destroy ..

MOST VALUABLE SPORTS FRANCHISES 2020, COWBOYS TOP THE WORLD AT 5.5 BILLION. NFL FEATURES 27 OUT OF 50 OF THE WORLD’S RICHEST .. EVEN IN A PANDEMIC

FORBES’ ANNUAL RANKING OF THE MOST VALUABLE TEAMS IN THE WORLD IS CHOCK FULL OF NFL REPRESENTATION

The Covid 19 pandemic was expected to disrupt MFL revenue so much that the league revised its collective bargaining agreement to spread expected losses over the course of several seasons. In terms of valuation however. Most teams are doing just fine. Forbes released its annual list of the world’s most valuable sports teams on Friday, and more than half of this years top 50 teams worldwide come from the NFL, with the Dallas Cowboys topping the list FOR THE 5TH YEAR IN A ROW.

No sports league has has seen tram values rise faster over the last decade THAN THE NBA, but the NFL still reihns supreme. Even the loest team in the MFL, the Tampa Bay Buchaneerd are valued at 23 Billion (and after today’s Super Bowl, even its fortunes will rise.

Hell yes you are a racist and obviously you don’t pay attention because I start and finish many threads that speak to lots of issues that you don’t have a clue about. But I’m not going to waste any time talking to an imbecile who believes in the god Q and all of the idiocy that comes with it. I’m going to finish my Ben and Jerry’s I’ve cream, walk my dog, and sit back and enjoy the spanking I adminisrered to you and your clan. I’ll tell the Biden team you said thanks. :) now the boot

mmmmmmm hmmmmm

That's because he believes in CRT!

I know. But its more like " tries to make it seem like he really believes" when in fact he knows better just like everyone else knows better. Just another beggar looking for a handout based on whatever grievance they can dig up. 99% of people see right thru the bullshit. A lot of people just let it go because they are trying to be polite and dont want any argument. Not me,....I call out bullshit when I see it, Im not that polite. You know what I am seeing though........ as time goes by a lot more people are calling it out instead of worrying about being polite. People are sick of it,.....the more it goes,... the more it will be called out. People need to make their own way in life. Get off their knees, stop begging, and just DO IT. That I respect. But the whiners and beggars? Fuckum....They get nothing nor do they deserve anything.

Yup, I think woke-ism has an expiration date too.

Sure does. Most people arent multi millionaires or billionaires. They are simply that huge group in the middle who go out every day and work their butts off trying to make a life for themselves and their family. For one thing,....they dont have the time or inclination to sit around and worry about someone elses bullshit story. They are way too busy with their own problems. For another....... after being bombarded for YEARS by people with..." you owe me...gimme" it doesnt take very long before people begin to say.....you know what? STFU!! They look around at their own lives, how hard they work trying to make something and pretty soon what starts out as trying to be polite turns into becoming immune to the bullshit and not caring,.... after that it turns to calling people out on the bullshit and telling people to stick their CRT up their ass. THAT is about where we are now. If Biden and the D's slow the economy down and people begin to have to struggle harder economically,.....that will in turn accelerate the process of people calling out the bullshit because as their own problems mount they will be even less tolerant of listening to someone elses grievance scam. Common sense.

Eyes on Tampa over the next few weeks to see if the Superbowl becomes the Super Spreader Bowl.

Was the event safe?

Or will it lead to increased death rates.

Seems pretty irresponsible to allow bars to be open at full capacity.

Yup.

I would add that the critical race absurdity has added fuel to the fire. The idea that white people are inherently racist or float around in some amniotic fluid of white privilege is not only racist to the core but it’s divisive as hell.

I keep waiting for even some margin of white liberals to get fed up with it. I actually expect some of them already are but they are a fearful lot [you're deemed racist if you reject it] so they remain silent.

But voting is done in private for a reason.

Exactly. CRT is racist to its core and mostly used as a way to leverage money from people. Thats just the truth of it. Everything gets old after awhile but it gets old even faster when most can clearly see that CRT is simply a way of extracting money from people. I firmly believe that at first people were more like.......HERE...now take this and shut up. Almost like placating a kid that wont shut up. Parents should never do that either because when the kid sees that all he has to do is whine, beg, and pitch a fit to get his way then he will ALWAYS do that. Kind of the same thing here.

And we are kicking your asses more and more every time. I liked the amniotic fluid simile. Never heard that used before. It's somewhat apt in that people are oblivious to their privileged condition.
Nobody likes to be beaten over the head with something especially when they don't want to believe it's true. Woke and obstinate is still woke.;) After that it's just a hate- fear problem.
"What will life be like for me when there is more racial justice?" their consciences ask them. I bet it will be a nicer world.

Superbowl Becomes Super Spreader Bowl

Superbowl Becomes Super Spreader Bowl:

"The streets of Tampa, Fla., teemed with boozy revelers into the wee hours of Monday, many of them ignoring pleas by medical experts to social distance and wear masks, after the Buccaneers crushed the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl.

...

In Ybor City, another part of Tampa known for its nightlife, a sea of people partied late into the night. In videos, few were wearing masks and it was not immediately clear whether any efforts had been made to disperse the crowd. A television reporter characterized the scene as “one massive dance floor.”

The scene of thousands of fans tightly packed into the city’s streets and outside Raymond James Stadium represented an alternate universe from the steady warnings by the nation’s top health officials about the risks of the Super Bowl becoming a superspreader event. It also came amid growing concerns that variants of the coronavirus, including one first found in Britain, have become more transmissible.

...

Outside the stadium, there appeared to be far less of an emphasis on social distancing and wearing masks. Maskless fans in jerseys tailgated, waving Buccaneers flags and listening to music.

After the game, which Tampa won 31-9 over the Chiefs, last year’s champions, a group of fans surrounded a Kansas City team bus. Many of those in that crowd also did not appear to wearing masks. Officers on motorcycles cleared the crowd for the bus to be on its way.

In Tampa, Super Bowl Celebrations Bring Superspreader Concerns

At least one police officer appeared to get knocked to the ground as a large group of fans shoved each other in the city, a video showed.

Way to supercharge the then South African mutation against which Astra Zeneca is only 10% effective. :palm:

Hello Micawber,

Way to supercharge the then South African mutation against which Astra Zeneca is only 10% effective. :palm:

It has been reported that the South African variant is already in Florida.

But Florida's governor Ron Desantis appears oblivious and bent upon bringing in dollars. He has essentially taken the position of 'Bring us your dollars; we'll take you COVID if we have to.'

Is the Super Spreader Bowl a warm up for Spring Super Spreader Break?

Its o.k Pol,.... you can just stay locked away in your house for the next 6 months, year, two years, forever,... until you turn into a Troglodyte. If you havent already. Poor sorry soul. Meanwhile the rest of us above ground fresh air breathers are living life, free as a bird, and having a blast while doing it. The sunlight will hurt your eyes forever. You are now a darkness dweller, apart for the normal human race. How creepy.
