Donald Trump has shifted money raised from campaign donors into the Trump Organization.
The organization is heavily indebted, reportedly owing around $400 million.
Campaign donor money was moved both before and after Trump's election loss.

He moved around $2.8 million into his private businesses throughout the duration of his presidency, Forbes's Dan Alexander reported.

It wasn't...and no matter how much it is, it is illegal to simply shift money that way.

We'll probably never know the full story - but I think a lot of Trump's wealth and business career as a whole was probably smoke & mirrors.

He owns a lot of property, but his liquid assets are drying up. I’ve read he’s trying to sell some assets. He was hoping to sell the DC hotel, but the firm that was brokering the deal dropped him like a hot potato. He also wants more for his assets than they are worth. The days of Russian and Saudis overpaying for his properties are long gone.
