Vogue's March cover story on Michelle Obama called her "The First Lady the World's Been Waiting For."

No doubt she's been embraced by the media world, appearing on cover after cover, from Us Weekly to Newsweek. But when it comes to sales, Ms. Obama may not yet be general-interest magazines' new Princess Diana, who regularly helped the industry sell more copies at newsstands.

I've seen thousands of examples of msm crap over the years....usually spinning the political left as god-like saviors and the political right as biased, racist, rich war mongers, ......not withstanding the lefts greatest creation, the Vietnam debacle ..

But the call this....this....this women, "The First Lady the World's Been Waiting For." is just astounding nonsense....

the right will probably never win the media war. the right believes to much in the truth. the left needs propaganda and has wholeheartedly embraced it....

goebbels would be proud...

Propaganda must be planned and executed by only one authority (they want to shut down rush...bring back the "fair"ness doctrine)

To be perceived, propaganda must evoke the interest of an audience and must be transmitted through an attention-getting communications medium (the left says talk radio is dead, oddly they want the "fair"ness doctrine)

Propaganda must label events and people with distinctive phrases or slogans (we can't afford four more years....mccain is another bush....can't have bush policies anymore....change)

Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred. (see above....bush, bush, bush, bush...)

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. (goebbels would be proud of democrats)

2nd mention of Vietnam tonight? That's what you've got....a conflict that's 40 years old?

Well, you got me on that one. Vietnam SUCKED; vote the Dems who were for it out of office!

Everyone I know, male/female has had orgasms, just contemplating her arms. *shiver*

With all due respect brother, that is ridiculous.

The right is in the position it is now because it doesn't believe in nor require TRUTH.

The TRUTH was that Iraq was a fraud from the very beginning, and when the left spoke of all the lies and deceptions, the right went on the attack and called them unpatriotic and a bunch of other 8th grade schoolchild names.

How do you dare speak of Goebbels and telling a lie often enough in the face of ALL the evidence and history that clearly determines that's exactly what the right did?

TIme for a bit more introspective instead of pointing the finger at someone else.

How is it that America's First Lady being popular around the world a bad thing for America .. and what the fuck does that have to do with MSM. The foreign press is happily reporting good news about the First Lady, hus America .. but you see this as an opportunity to rant about the media?

What utter desperation.

Truly sad.

Hate for hates sake.

Mrs Obama has done nothing to be reviled by you con heads yet you have rampede up to hate her just the same.

The world LIKES her and you just cant stand it huh?

She is polite, kind , classy and dresses like the youthful woman she is and you are bound and determined to hate every fucking thing she does.

Laura drove her car straight into her Ex boyfriends car on a clear day at a open corner and killed him and no one hardly mentioned it.

Can you imagine what the conheads would be saying if Mrs Obama had done that?

I agree with everything you've said here .. except at my house, we hate her clothes. Who in the hell is dressing her?

She could find more attractive clothes for her and her kids at Target.

I hate the fashion industry and its sense of "style" but many love fashion and find it important.

I leave the decision of what it fashionable to those who care about it.

Thats what your buddy Richard Clark claimed....:pke:
Richard Clark was a tool who was willing to throw actual progress of his ideas under the bus because he wasn't invited to higher level meetings.

What Clinton left (after it being proposed 2 years before he term ended) for the next President to implement was actually moving forwards, but Clark was upset because he didn't get to go to the meetings with the Principles... Seriously, what a tweak-assed social climber. It didn't matter that what he proposed was becoming policy, he wanted the meetings and tried to trash the President with a book because of it.

What Clinton didn't think he could do in 2 years was at near-implementation in 8 months by the next President.

Richard Alan Clarke[1] (born October 1951) was a U.S. government employee for 30 years, 1973–2003. He worked for the State Department during the presidency of Ronald Reagan.[2] Following the presidency of George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton promoted Clarke to be the chief counter-terrorism adviser on the U.S. National Security Council. Under President George W. Bush Clarke no longer had cabinet-level access, but continued in the same position until his retirement in January 2003, serving as a member of the Senior Executive Service, specializing in intelligence, cyber security and counter-terrorism.[citation needed] He was thus a part of the executive branch at the time of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

I think 911 kinda proved that maybe he should have been allowed into meetings

No, when he was allowed into the meetings nothing was being implemented.

Again.

Clinton had 2 years to implement the ideas but left it to the next Administration believing that there wouldn't be enough time. Clark got to go to meetings and was happy as a clam.

Bush began implementing the ideas nearly right away, and the final meeting before implementation was scheduled to take place on 9/12....

In 8 months, Bush was able to do what Clinton believed couldn't be done in 2 years.

In those 8 months, Clark's ideas were becoming policy yet he was upset because he didn't get to go to some meetings and was willing to throw even his ideas under the bus to get there, and if he didn't get there he was going to "punish" somebody for their chutzpah...
