Or, the GOP was already an extremist group.
 
Politics is about events and how people cope with them.

It's pretty challenging to discuss politics without getting personal.

But we should endeavor to try, because as soon as things get personal, discussions go off the rails and become about the participants in the discussion, rather than the subject itself.

There doesn't seem to be any such thing as just plain politics.

Not just NO ... but HELL NO!

Barack Obama waisted half his Presidency trying to reach out to people who could not or would not be reached. We just waisted another 4 years with a Right Wing Party that is getting lead around by their nose.

Nope I won, trump Lost, the far right Lost, and the Republican Party are splintering, no I am fine. The Nation, on the other hand, is a mess and we can thank trump and his minions for that, after Biden and his administration gets the mess cleaned up you can thank Him. Looks like every time a Dem gets into office they have to spend the first couple of months cleaning up the mess left behind by a Republican. At least this is the second time Biden has had to do it and has vast experience at it because this time there is a bigger mess than usual left behind by trump.
