You don't get to be a Marine if you're overweight and fat arsed. Its also difficult to pull that off in the AF because of the retarded way we do our fitness test. Basically, you have to go Army or Navy if you plan on not losing weight...

I just know of some overweight people who joined the Navy... Obviously the Army is the butt of many obesity jokes, and we don't really need to explain it.

The AF is just weird, in that it makes waist measurement 30% of the test (more than both non-cardiovascular sections combined). Once a male gets over 32 in. on the waist, and exceedingly after you raise above 34 in., you get brutalized by the point system.

You're all pretty fucking sick. Turns out it was Vietnam immigrant who came to the USA when he was about 10 and became a naturalized citizen. Most the people he killed were employees and immigrants taking a citizenship exam. It's a horrible tragedy and we should all be thinking of the deceased and their families and not throwing partisan political jabs like monkey shit.

I have a bit of a connection to Binghamton. I've been there quite a few times and it's a picturesque small city and the people are cordial and friendly. I work as a hazmat manager for a major chemical company. I manage the waste approvals process for our environmental services devision for the entire north east region of the US. The waste we manage is processed through our permitted facility in Binghamton and I'm on the phone or computer with the people there all day long. That facility is less than a mile from the civic center. Needless to say we didn't get a whole lot of work done yesterday.

What a horrible tragedy. For many of those killed this was a shining moment for them, they were earning their US citizenship and what should have been a great day in their lives, one we should all applaud, became a horrible tragedy.

My prayers are with those unfortunate victims and their families, may God have the mercy to provide them some solace for their loss.
