Actually I think it will be longer then 10 years, covid is a off shoot of the common cold and will continue to mutate as it already has.

thanks to trumps warp speed program and the pharmaceutical company's efforts to develop a vaccine we have something to fight back with for the present time.

Hopefully humans will slowly build up some natural immunity to covid 19 like we have the common cold which is a form of covid and the effects of it will become less severe and outbreaks will occur less often across the globe. but there is no true way to stop it with our current medical technology.


Any one with half a mind knows it was clearly started in China and has spread across the globe as a virus or any infectious outbreak can can do with ease.
I doubt there is any cure in the next 30 to 50 years.
but hopeful we will become more tolerant of its effects as a species .

Inhibitors slow down the virus, and allow the body to cure itself. In a way, I am wrong. Bodies can cure themselves of the virus. There are some drugs that help a bit. But really drugs are not a cure.

As for wiping the virus out , seriously you think uncle joe biter can can much less anyone else.

It is the WHO that has the success record for wiping out viruses, or nearly wiping them out. I do not think Biden can do it, but I think he can work with the WHO that has a chance at doing it.

Smallpox has been wiped out. Polio is almost wiped out. Ebola is regularly wiped out in human populations, but is out there in the wild somewhere. SARS crossed over into the human population, and then was wiped out in the human population, but is almost certainly in the wild somewhere.
