Will she IMPLODE ???

This right-winger ain't runnin BAC...;).

I like the conversation.

On the list of right-wingers there is an asterisk by your name my brother.

You are an anomaly .. an absolute freak of nature .. a intelligent honest-debating "right-winger" with a heart and a healthy does of humanity.

An absolute freak of nature.

:)

I think this is the biggest thing that dooms the Republican party as we know it. The demographics in this country are changing and changing really fast. There is nothing the Republicans can do about it except change their message with them (the voters). So the Republicans as we know them will no longer be a political power within the next 10 years. Whigs......that's a good type to the modern day Republican antitype.

The voter base they depend on is shrinking, and it will be utterly unsustainable to depend on them in the future, because it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them to win elections doing so. The change they need is going to have to be dramatic to win presidential elections, otherwise they'll only be competitive in majority-white rural areas.

In all fairness, the Democratic Party has been remiss and oftentimes completely absent from the fight to demand safe and secure elections.

In Georgia, I fought against democrats .. and in fact, the bill I was part of crafting that demanded a Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail as a requirement for all electronic faith-based elections in Georgia, was passed by the Georgia State Senate which was controlled by republicans, but never made it out of committee in the Georgia State House which was controlled by democrats.

I even had to go to a republican congressman, Tom Price, to sponsor the bill because democrats ran away from it .. and I spoke to LOTS of them, including John Lewis.

The real battle on the issue is with BOTH political parties.

You nailed it!

She's a 9/11 "truther". Nuff said.

She is not and has never stated anything but a desire for a real investigation about the events of 9/11. I know this for fact because I was there at the hearings in DC, I know many of the major players involved, and I know Cynthia very well.

She is not, but I am.

So is Lt. Col Robert Bowman, ex-Director of Advanced Space Programs Development for the Air Force Space Division (STAR WARS)

Decorated war hero who flew over 100 combat missions in Vietnam

Holds a Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering and AERONAUTICS from the California Institute of Technology.

President of the Institute for Space and Security Studies, Executive Vice President of Millennium III Corporation

Presiding Archbishop of the United Catholic Church

Recipient of the Eisenhower Medal, the George F. Kennan Peace Prize, the President's Medal of Veterans for Peace, the Republic Aviation Airpower Award, The Society of American Military Engineers' Gold Medal (twice), the Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters, and numerous other awards

One of the country's foremost authorities on national security.

He's just one of many credentialed, highly decorated, and accomplished professionals who go much farther than McKinney.

It's much easier to dismiss McKinney and call her loony than it is to dismiss Bowman and the mass of others WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.

As I already knew to be the case, you cannot support your nuttiness and dishonest claims about Fox with facts or specifics. You just barf out crap and call it macaroni. Fox is number one, not two.

You, and posters like you, who just espouse imbecilic rants are pathetic.

I did give you specifics, Glen Beck's recent crying jag on Fox, his claiming that Obama was opening concentration camps in America, an outright lie and a way of dumbing down America, those who watch believe him and that makes them a little more ignorant. They never check for themselves, they take the story at face value.

The whole lead up to the Iraq war, there was lie after lie after lie. McClellan stated that the White House under Bush fed news stories to Fox to "air". the White House gave Fox scripts to read on air promoting their positions! Shameful!

The problem with Fox is that their opinion shows are presented as "news", it isn't, it is Mr. Hannity's, Mr. O'Reilly's and Brit Hume's opinions and not the news, but some viewers, such as yourself, fail to see the nuances.

You are giving "no proofs". You are making claims without links to entire story lines that provide context. You are showing no pattern of "dumbing down and lies. In short you are just doing the typical lazy throwing crap and hoping it sticks. Now, provide story lines, set up the accusation you wish to prove and prove it.

"As expected, USA Network swept all three demos and total viewers, averaging 1.54 million adults 25-54 (an increase of 18% vs. the first quarter of 2008), 1.46 million viewers 18-49 (up 15% year-over-year) and 665,000 18-34s (up 16%). All told, USA drew an average nightly audience of 3.26 million total viewers, an improvement of 12% vs. the year-ago period.

Second place on the quarter went to Fox News Channel, which has been on a tear, averaging 2.26 million viewers, representing 25% year-over-year growth. The news net boosted its standing among the core news demo by 20%, averaging 515,000 adults 25-54."

this is where I got my #2 place for Fox.

If the lead up to the Iraq war was a lie, then it doesn't say much for the Democrats who bought it and voted for the war..but lets continue to just ignore all that..

Kieth Overblown, Krissy Matthews and the stuff they vomit out is presented as news, so what's the problem?

No, it doesn't say much for them.

And it hasn't been ignored. Not on here, at least.

Pelosi Plane Report Factually Incorrect

Yesterday the Drudge Report, FOX News and Political Machine ran articles about a report put out by the conservative group Judicial Watch that claimed that Nancy Pelosi had abused her privileges with Pentagon supplied aircraft. Well, not so much, it turns out. ABC , echoed by Politico have both now looked into the matter and found that the actual record finds no such evidence of abuse. In other words, the claim that Pelosi is acting in an "unprecedented" manner is a bunch of hogwash.

In fact, it appears that Pelosi uses military aircraft less often than her predecessor, former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

There are a plethora of instances that prove Fox is just entertainment, not real news.

Calling Fox news is like calling wrestling a sport.

It's a completely indefensible .. and a bit silly argument.

oooooooo, that Fox news is so eeeeeevil...but Pms-nbc is the truth to power I guess:cof1:

No, all major networks seem to have problems with keeping their editorializing out of the news! I only watch my local news for the most part and get my real news from other sources and most of them, sadly are international sources. We no longer have true investigative journalist due to the 24 hour news on cable. It is too expensive as one network claimed to do real investigation on a story and so we get all the crap, like Paris and Brittany!

P.S. To put it in perspective. Out of all the netwroks Fox was number 2. With regards to single shows on a netwrok however, O'reilly, was and has been number one for 100 months. :)

Well, since I happened to have watched the Pelosi plane segment I happen to know first hand that they never said she abused the priviledge. They asked the question and opened it up for debate. In fact O-reilly defended her use of not just the military plane, but of one that did not have to stop for refueling. The majority of opinion was that she should have use. The line being crossed by some of the opinion weighing in was that of her last minute cancellations that wasted tax payer money.

Fox is news. Apart from local news, it is THE only real news left on TV.
