Unity

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., said, "If you see anybody from that (Trump) Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere."

Mike Brzezinski of the MSNBC Morning Joe show. She hit President Trump last week: “The rhetoric of this racist, heartless, soulless man will lead to more violence. Yes, I said that.”

This ain't how you get "unity."

At this point does it really matter?

Yep. The bitch that started it all

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

your kind have been marginalize

What a stupid low IQ, race hustling, worthless piece of filth. :palm:

While I have no problem with that, can you articulate why that is? Strait Up, give details, think it out, why it is you want to be enemies of your fellow Americans...... ??

Did you ask that question when Democrat's and the PHPONY media announced Trumps impeachment before he even took office?

You dumb cunt; it's the Democratic Party of the Jackass who set the table of derision and division. Try to be less stupid and less of a ignorant asshole.

The left aren't merely dishonest and liars, but hypocrites and fucking stupid.

So, in other words, any serious opposition to Democrat ideas, positions, and policy by individual Republicans should be dealt with by their ejection from office and their party until the Republican party is the same as the Democrat party in ideas, positions, and policy.... How dictatorial and authoritarian...

The Republican positions have all been dealt with by the American electorate. you got kicked out of the house you got kicked out of the Senate and you got kicked out of the White House. You need to go on retreat somewhere and figure out why you guys are such losers.

Just more crazy horseshit from you. Sane people know that there are still 50 Republican Senators and the Republicans made gains in the House this past election.

Hello Jarod,

If the Republicans want unity they should force Trump, Cruz, Scott, Rubio and others involved in the election lie out of their party, then we can talk.

I did not give this OP a 'Thanks' because true forgiveness doesn't come with conditions.

Hello CASPER,

With Real Republicans I have zero problem sitting down at the table and working out our differences.
As for the diehard trump cult members, Fuck All of You, please do something very stupid.....

I also want nothing to do with people whose only purpose here seems to be to unload on liberals in a very nasty way. Had my fill of that years ago. And it really just gets sad and boring. What a total downer.

But I still wish them well. I hold no animus. No, I don't want anything bad to happen to them or anyone. I instead wish they would wise up and open their eyes and learn how to relate to others with whom they may disagree in a more positive way. That would really be the best thing for America.

The interesting thing is that this notion of wishing well to one's adversaries is usually seen as a Christian value, (although many self-proclaimed Christians never seem to grasp the concept,) but to me as a non-Christian it is simply logical. The whole world would be better off if everyone had benevolent feelings towards others.

Conversely, wishing ill will toward others is bad karma. What goes around comes around. So the best way to treat the matter is to distance oneself from abrasive individuals while also wishing them well. It is the most logical approach to build a better life, a better America and a better world.

Well Done :good4u:

Hello CASPER,

Well Done :good4u:

I originally stumbled onto the idea of wishing one's adversaries well when a college buddy and I embarked on a habit of playing chess. We quickly found out that he was a much better player than I was, easily winning game after game.

Then he did something that I considered strange. He began to give me pointers and tips. My playing improved and eventually I was able to beat him sometimes.

I asked him why he would help me when it ended up causing him to lose.

He said that by helping me it also helped him. If I made a better opponent, it challenged him more and caused him to consider strategies that he had never thought of.

By continually challenging one another, we both improved.

btw, the first thing to know about playing better chess is to immediately go after the center 4 squares. If you control those 4 squares in the center of the board you control the whole board.

And the next thing to know is that if you get an advantage in having more pieces on the board, then begin sacrificing your own trading them for you opponents pieces of equal value. That way you can go from a 16-15 advantage down to 2-1.

Just those two concepts makes anybody a far better player.

All I did was apply that approach to life.

Basic logic.

And that is why it is fruitless to wish ill will towards nasty chat room posters.
