Critical Thinking is always a plus in every situation.

IMO, part of the problem is Al Gore's Internet; the voices from the back half of the IQ Bell Curve are just as loud as the forward half. The increased noise creates confusion for those lacking critical thinking skills.

Part of the problem is the Dr. Spock/Liberal concept of "everyone's opinion is equal". No, it's not. We're all equal before the law and, for believers, before God, but uneducated dumbasses on the backside of the IQ Bell Curve are not equal to most people in the middle of the curve much less ahead of it.
