What we do see happen is the occasional violent domestic terrorist goes bonkers, thinks he can start the next civil war, perpetrates some attack, and then he is dealt with by the authorities, gets on the 6 o'clock news, gets his 15 minutes of fame, and then his life as he knew it is over, and the public forgets all about him and moves on with advancing the nation.

Rational people do not harbor anger or vendettas. They just live their lives, try to be a part of things, work their job, stay well informed, vote their conscience, have trust in our democracy, be a contributing productive member of society, and help make America great. Rational people do not believe in crackpot unsupported made up nonsense nor decide they have to attack our government or anybody else. Nobody needs attacking. We are all Americans. We are all on the same side.

Everyone is entitled to their own views, but if those views are not realistic then it compromises a general understanding of American politics.

Democrats are a very large group of people in the USA. Millions and millions of Americans are Democrats. The term represents people of all walks of life. Among them are many fine upstanding members of society and some scoundrels, liars and cheats. And all the same could be said of Republicans.

Stereotyping is a fundamental mistake which leads to a basic misunderstanding of politics.

All lives matter. Fascism is destructive to society. Rioting is wrong whether it is Trump supporters or anybody else.

The only people I hear calling for a civil war are right wing extremists. There will be no civil war. The only thing that might happen will be deranged extremists go violent and get dealt with by the authorities, provide some shocking news, and then their lives as they knew it are over and they take on serious criminal legal troubles.
