That's irrelevant. In countries with strict gun bans, gun homicide rates are significantly lower. In Japan, it's considered a national crisis if the national gun homicide rate reaches 10.

In many of those red states, the problem is the blue areas within those states, many of which have black majorities, relying on social welfare because they're too fucking lazy or stupid to support themselves. My state has one of those blue area. 60%+ black and almost 1 in 5 using food stamps.
