Now that's a very good question. However, the case of bakery has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

I read it like this:

A bakery should be able to practice their First Amendment right without government involvement.
Twitter should be able to practice their First Amendment right without government involvement.

Am I wrong in my interpretation?

Or is it the another way around?

No. Not in the least, it's a private company. If censorship becomes publicly acceptable, don't you think the government will start censuring too? Like I said, it started on college campuses.

Hold on, isn't that reminiscent of the famous poem by Martin Niemöller. It is about the cowardice of German intellectuals and certain clergy, including by his own admission, Niemöller himself for following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets, group after group.
