Why won't right wing support a War President?

They don't seem to support Obama much. esp the teabaggers. And we do still have a war or two going on don't we?

Eggzactly! I recall being called an unamerican traitorous bastard for at least 2 years there.

sorry to hear that. but us conservatives are called much worse here..
I don't support Obama in any of his grandiose visions for the United States, and I never will..that's just how it is.

Admitted partisan or Rascist. I lean towards Meme being party first.

On another note could the desire to feel persecuted explain the link between Republicans and Christians and Joos?

What? We're still at war? We still have boys in harms way? We're still spending blood and treasure? Wye, I thought you guys were going to put a stop to that shit, right away! Oh, what's this? Obama to send another 17k to Afghanistan, and 15k to Iraq?

Where the fuck is Cyndi Shehan and Micheal Moore? Where is all the outrage from the left about the war? Oh yeah... the war!! That thing you all FAKED outrage over for political advantage! Now that you got your boy elected, you couldn't care less about the war. It's like I said all along, giving Democrats the white house, might be the best thing that ever happened for the war on terror. Just look around... all the propaganda has stopped... all the conscientious objecting has blown away... no more protests... no more overblown exaggerations... no more complaints of detainee abuse... and a president sending thousands more troops over there, without so much as a peep from the left!

Where were you?

The left is pissed that his plan to withdraw was extended by about 6 months.

where's the media on it?

Not sure which media you're referring to. Maddow spent a week on it; Olbermann railed it. Kucinich was out there, as were Code Pink, IVAW, DailyKos, and the Huff Post. I read articles on MSNBC, CNN & Fox. The left was decidedly NOT happy about the extended timeframe. At their best, they expressed gratitude that at least there was an exit date, but no one was happy about the extra months.

the point is that it wasn't that loud of a rail (I remember about two days worth of rants) and if it was THAT wrong, the media should STILL be on it. I smell presidential consideration that would not have been provided to Bush. Thats just me though.

You've gotta factor in a certain degree of war fatigue. In the past year of Bush's Presidency, how many loud protests regarding Iraq have we actually read about or seen in the media? It just hasn't been there.

There might be some more favorable treatment overall, but the voices on the left who I consider to be the most vocal w/ regards to Iraq certainly didn't take Obama's withdrawal plan lying down.

Nope.... they took it bending over grabbing their ankles though!

exactly...

so according to the thread starter, if you protest obama for only one thing, you protest him for everything

and according to some, if protest the Obama you are not only a racist, but insane also..
