For all that police officer knew, they were going to kill him the minute they penetrated that Barrier. For all he knew they were carrying bombs, and were going to open fire on Congressional Members.
His job was to keep the Halls of Congress safe from intruders, possible assassins, and protect the lives of Congressmen - NO MATTER WHAT!
It is a felony that is punishable for up to 10 years to even enter a Federal Building with a weapon!
He was outnumbered and only one man and so he shot her as a last resort as she was climbing through! And several of the TERRORISTS breaking in were pointing their weapons at the officer and threatening to kill him!
I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING! AND IF ANY OF YOU CHICKEN-SHITS THAT ARE NOW ACCUSING HIM WERE IN THAT SAME DEADLY SITUATION- YOU WOULD HAVE TOO!
