I don't know if that is necessary but some more significant help will certainly be needed and now that McConnell won't be calling the shots it will at least be possible. McConnell would not care if the bread lines were coast to coast he would never again allow voting on any stimulus. Our founders royally fucked up when they gave the senate majority leader the power they did.

80% of the country called for a stimulus, the house of reps called for a stimulus, the senate called for a stimulus, the president called for a stimulus and the senate majority leader says "no dice, isn't going to happen because I fucking say so"? Something is seriously wrong with that.
