The 2005 objection was to the electoral votes of one state only, Ohio, and not any kind of effort to reverse the election. If Trumpers knew their history they would find it harder to be Trumpers.

As has been said, the objections then were not a “coup” attempt as is the case today. Kerry had conceded the election. No defeated President ever behaved as Trump is behaving. He alone in history has called for a coup to keep himself in office. Unique a thing as it is, no one is really surprised given the man’s disregard for all interests other than those he sees as his own.

How is an objection to election results a "discredit" to "the American election system" when the GOP does it ONCE, but it wasn't a "discredit" to "the American election system" when the DEMOCRATS did it three times in the last two decades?
