The Department of Defense and the ATF were also consulted, and neither agency had any information that would compel an investigator to move forward.
The MNPD attempted to interview Warner and were rebuffed, but without a warrant they could not force entry to his RV (which was on his property) and conduct a search.

During the week of August 26, 2019, the Hazardous Devices Unit made contact with the attorney who called 911, Ray Throckmorton.
The report states that “The recollection of that call is that Warner did not care for the police, and that Throckmorton would not allow his client to permit a visual inspection of the RV.”
Legally, it is not unreasonable for an attorney who represents a client who comes under police scrutiny to demand a warrant be issued for such a search.
At no time was there any evidence of a crime detected and no additional action was taken,” the report concludes.

Ironically, the same individual who told the cops that Warner was supposedly building a bomb also reportedly told the police that he was Warner's attorney and said they could not interview Warner or enter his premises without a warrant.
FBI, DoD and AFT all had nothing on file to suggest that the allegations had merit. There were no corroborating complainants. No neighbors reported anything suspicious.
I doubt any magistrate would be inclined to give credence to the allegations of a suicidal woman who was admittedly suffering a mental crisis and therefore was unqualified to be an affiant.
No probable cause, no warrant.

NMPD got a 911 call from Ray Throckmorton. They duly investigated, and in the course of that investigation they made inter-agency inquiries to find out if there was anything on file which would lend credence to the allegations, and there wasn't.

Unless an emergency exception exists, there must be reasonable suspicion that a crime is being committed. If you're willing to sign an affidavit (which renders you liable to perjury if you made the story up) and a magistrate considers it probable cause, they could issue a warrant.

A "tip from Facebook" means that the corporate entity Facebook reported the criminal activity. Facebook tracks you online, and if they see suspicious activity, they alert the authorities. For obvious reasons, that carries more weight with the authorities than some guy making claims without evidence.
