So trump has failed to get Covid-19 under control. Other countries went through waves, but we were never able to reduce the rates of infection enough to have clear cut waves. I am sure that trump worshipers will point out that European countries only temporarily got Covid-19 under control, but at least they temporarily got it under control. trump has failed to do even that.

So the rest of the world develops vaccines, and trump fails to deliver on the test kits he promised to test the vaccine. his tiberius clearinghouse has been unable to figure out where to send the vaccines (who names an office in government after the emperor that basically killed Jesus?). The rollout of the vaccine has been extremely underwhelming in the USA.

And now we have the English strain about to hit. It spreads at nearly twice the rate of the current strain, so it will hit hard. Maybe if we had a good rollout of the vaccine, but it has been incompetent.

when i was about to enter first grade back in the 50's, they had a polio vaccine event at the local school for all kids to come get their polio vaccine. it was a well coordinated, community event, not just left up to each parent to do on their own. before long, due to local, state and federal government coordination, polio and smallpox were eliminated as threats to our normal society. we have to do at least as much now to make sure we get about 70% of the population to vaccinate, and we CAN GO BACK TO BEING NORMAL.

trump's failure to control Covid-19. Covid-19 just became twice as hard to control, and trump failed with the old strain. Things are going to the next level.

The WHO was able to get enough of total humanity vaccinated to wipe out smallpox. They are about to get polio complete wiped out. They are literally our only hope in getting Covid-19 wiped out, so of course trump is trying to destroy them.
 
El Trumpo- in line with other Third World ' strong men ' - actually tried to dissuade his public from basic infection prevention. They listened, they died- and took thousands of other folk with them.
There should be hundreds of thousands of people joining a class action.

The worst thing by far Trump has done is make the virus a political opponent. About as stupid a maneuver as could be imagined but it is a main reason the United States is languishing in death and misery. Proponents of this mind numbing theory populate the forum and remind us about every day of the worthlessness of masks and other ways
of staying healthy and alive.

your Polio vaccination was AFTER there were ALREADY ESTABLISHED CHANNELS of VACCINATION-
not a novel Coronavirus.

The states are scrambling to get the logistics in place. Do you want a military protocol?

Actually, Steven Mnuchin signed a letter saying I was essential to the economy. I hope he is wrong. Hate to think it all falls on me :-P

Given Letlow's death, and the Republicans complete disregard for safety, AOC getting the vaccine looks smart. I hope the vaccine reduces transmission and she is able to keep the other Congresspeople safe. There are some very old Congresspeople.

Somehow I am reminded of the line from Yeats' poem, The Second Coming, "The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity."
