How many single 20 somethings here buy health insurance

look at Massachusetts as example. Once they set the rules that you lose your state deduction in taxes if you can afford but chose not to buy tons came out of woodwork.

I think there are plenty people who choose not to buy

This is a great point, I've also read that many fairly decent wage-earning self-employed people also choose not to buy it.
You should be allowed to be free to choose whether to buy health insurance with your money. A big reason to be against universal healthcare that would just force it out of you in much higher taxes whether you want it or not.

Actually it would be forced out of the rich in higher taxes. I doubt it would change my tax bracket, or any tax bracket I'm going to be in for the next 20 years, at all.

But we degress.

Watermark do you buy it. If anything I would have guessed a highly educated guy like Epi
Might be one of the few who did. Fact is why does he need it.

I still have health insurance on my dads plan, but if the plywood plant he works at shuts down then I won't have any, and we probably won't be able to afford it unless Obama passes universal health care. Dano would look at one of my family members dying of cancer with no healthcare options and laugh at them and tell them to get a job.

About half the plywood plants in the US have closed over the past year. Housing bust. Think about it.

Yeah you really seem so concerned that you stay on a forum posting BS all day long, why don't you at least TRY and look for a side job, maybe one that has coverage? You won't because you really aren't that worried about it.

And yes people who do lose their job get another, usually with coverage. Or your Mom has a job with coverage.
Luckily you live in a state with lower taxes and less regulations which attracts more business and will provide more oppurtunities.
The point is you are not helpless without options.

Oh and I buy plywood and its fucking expensive like a lot of wood nowadays, though some of that is out of our control, you may want to reconsider your auto-left support for rabid environmentalism which drives up the cost of the base material.

Best of luck to your Dad and his job and your well being because you will find strange as you may think it that more Conservative places are actually MORE charitable. Less taxes allows you to be so and less government implores you to be.
As one example, Americans have much less taxes than France and are 9 times more charitable:

The perils of the down at heel single man, eh?

Just out of curiosity was the injury due to bellicose bull or furious farmer?
It was due to bad bull riding skills, but I don't admit it much and often use the hard ground excuse.
