Obviously it's not a completely accurate comparison since mankind is greatly superior in many ways to chimps and Blue Whales, more than just sex. Example: other animals use tools but usually for only one purpose. A chimp might use a toothpick to dig out a termite lunch. A human being uses the same tool for many purposes.
