Does congress need a 10% increase in its aides budget?

NO

$3,000,000,000.00 is more than enough for support staff.

Another $300,000,000.00 is too much. Much more than inflation and sends the wrong signal to voters that are struggling to get by.

You may want to send something to the Republicans. My understanding is that they want to keep their staffing levels from before the election even though there are a whole lot less Republican congresscritters these days.

Oh now all of a sudden you are a fiscal Conservative? I applaud your actions, but you are responsible for electing these imbeciles. You were warned over and over that although yes the Repubs were bad on spending, the Dems would be worse - and so they are.
Sometimes sadly my friend it is about seeing things as they are and realizing that they can always get worse and that parties do not switch roles. The entire spectrum moved leftward when the repubs started pushing big spending like the pill bill, the Democrats are not about to be out-Liberaled.

dq, social progressive and fiscal conservative

i am not happy with either party, but the reps have screwed things up so badly that i leaned toward the dems

however, if you review my posts you might notice that i bash both sides from time to time
