well it was ok to pretend everything was ok while Bush was president.
I am just pointing out the partisanship here.
I was whacked on pretty good for saying everything was not ok by plenty of bushies.

And were anything close to those numbers appearing when Bush was prez? Did you also note Drudge put an optimistic quote in that same section from Bernanke?

Obama's been the one out talking about the dire straights of our economy and thus the need for the stimulus package and all citizen can come up with is a quote from Drudge. What an idiot.
 
I believe Obama wants Q4 08 and Q1 09 to be as low as possible so he and his worshipers can blame Bush.
Then when we bounce it'll be artificially high. Guess that's politics.

Great point. Obama wants people to think of the bad news because it's so early in his term they will mostly blame Bush and pass what he wants. Drudge is helping him if anything, not intentionally of course, Drudge just posts whatever makes news.
 
It is all just a doomer readjustment. Didn't you take doomer 101 CAW?
Doomer readjustments are all part of the economic cycle.
