When you vote for president, you're actually voting for electors. Both parties offer a slate of electors in each state. If a state goes to Trump, then all the Republican Party's electors have been elected. If the state goes to Biden, then the Democratic Party's electors have been elected.
In other words, the only way you can throw the results to Trump is if you somehow get a secret Trumper as a Democratic elector, and this is unlikely, because both parties only choose as electors people who've shown years of faithfulness to the party.
