ND measure says fertilized egg has human rights

No one is suggesting that it is equatable to an infant. If a fertilized egg fails to imlant... it dies... it is not killed. Slight difference. The point of this bill is to force a decision on Roe vs. Wade.

Science dictates that a unique life is formed when the egg cell is fertilized by the sperm cell. That is not disputable. If it attaches and begins to develop, then it is alive and human. Thus...

Whether it should be entitled to basic human rights is the question. This bill seems to be designed to address that.

Well I can technically accept that.

But, at least in the first trimester, the embryo isn't even capable of having a preference of whether or not to develop into a human being. It isn't even capable of thought. I just don't think we should call something a person until has at least thought basic thoughts.

My same thoughts on Republicans.
