Ah, fair makes you proud don't it?

Kids dropping sprogs before they've even had time to drop their own balls.

Sadly, neither of our fair nations are strangers to this sort of disappointing bidness but it is a bit of a shocker when you see the little lad's picture i have to say. It's no coincidence that we've got some of the worst sex education programmes in the world and a teenage pregnancy rate to match.

So does West Texas. Funny, that, how the great abstinence-only approach (sans any information that might suggest to critics that sexual activity was being encouraged) has been such a dismal failure. Combine naive curiosity with raging adolescent hormones and the result is as described in the link.
 
Is this really news worthy? It's not like it's unheard of for thirteen year olds to have children. I know someone who's mother was twelve when she got pregnant.
