Without a single Republican vote yet again. Not surprising in the least but I thought a few would end up voting for it.

I didn't. They know the Dems will get the credit if this works either way. Whereas if they vote in unison against it and it doesn't work they get to go 'nana nana na na its all their fault raising the deficit like that blah blah blah'

My guess is that the Senate passes it with three Reps... Obama signs it today or over the weekend....

I assumed they all aren't that stupid, like this guy:

“I believe that my constituents and I, we are more concerned about rebuilding the second congressional district, so the stimulus bill I believe will assist in the rebuilding process," said Joseph Cao, R-Louisiana.

Cao said, more likely than not, he will vote for the stimulus bill. The same goes for Melancon. Scalise’s office, on the other hand, said that he will vote against the bill.

It seems that the Republican leadership was able to convince him otherwise.

when this massive bit of welfare doesn't produce the effects and jobs that the great messiahs said it would, the republican full court press will hit the airwaves and hard. I also fully expect to have the MSM downplay every negative aspect of the failure coming from it.

Hell, just earlier I heard an MSM reporter claim that wasteful deficit spending is exactly what this economy needs to get fixed.

oh I completely disagree. someone or group will most certainly blame those responsible for it. It will just be nearly impossible to sort through all the fingerpointing to make it clear to the american people.
