Most SCOTUS justices have been picked by Presidents who lost the popular vote.
That a President as low caliber as Trump actually got 3 appointments is pretty sad.
I really wish McConnell had let Garland go through. It would have made this more palatable for millions.

I am still waiting for a leftist to tell me they wouldn't have done the same thing in the same situation.
You can't lose something that isn't part of picking the winner.
That Hillary didn't get to pick 3 is wonderful. I sent her an email yesterday with pictures of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett just to remind her of what she didn't get to do.
They may tell you they wouldn't have done it but their court packing plan proves otherwise. Had Hillary won and chosen 3, no talk of adding Justices would have ever occurred. Neither would the Covid nonsense.

The electoral college has been around since G. Washington won in 1789. With the exception of Jefferson (1800) and JQA (1824), the winner of the office has been the winner of a majority of electoral votes. Why haven't lefties raised as much hell about it as they do now. It's only when the person they thought could never lose did that it becomes a problem to them.
Had Hillary won, while Covid may have existed, the lockdowns and disastrous effects on the economy they cause would never have occurred. H1N1 didn't produce those results but that was because Obama was in office.
The only ones that don't think they're stupid are their fellow idiots that believe like they do.

The way to save the court is to create another one.
The United States should join scores of other nations, including Germany and France, and create a specialized court to decide constitutional questions. The most contentious and important legal issues — whether states can ban abortion, or whether the president can refuse subpoenas or mandate travel bans — should be shifted from the Supreme Court to a new court created to decide such issues.

What??????? The point of the SC is to decide constitutional questions. A second court isn't needed when the first court is doing just that. What is wrong with you?
