Well then moodys acted like scum bags and tried to help save themselves pn that one US.

This stimulus study has been done by others and ended up with the SAME results. Go look at page 3 of this study.

Look something has to be done for the millions at high risk of losing their health care because they can't afford their coming COBRA payments, and as far as "welfare" not being stimulative, that depends. Some are saying the 25 dollars extra a week for the unemployed is "welfare". But it's a no-brainer that it's stimulative. Same for food stamps. So, no I disagree and I think that bac's view of what is "welfare" in this bill, differs greatly from yours. So that is interesting.

How do you charcterize this as welfare to the poor when the vast amount of the money goes to the rich?

This package was supposed to do more than "create jobs" as ZERO jobs have been created with the first 350 billion installment .. which was to RESCUE ailing banks and financial institutions .. yet when what amounts to a paltry sum is dedicated to RESCUE ailing Americans, thus reduce outlaying costs, somehow that doesn't belong in the bill.
