not sure where 250k comes in, however, if the 900 billion dollar package actually went to tax payers instead of 'too big to fail' business, each taxpayer would end up with 7500. I could live with that. It would certainly help me get in to a foreclosed home.

The stimulus doesn't go to helping business's not fail. Indeed, a large portion of it IS tax cuts - but there are plenty of infrastructure projects as well.
