A recent thwarted plan to take Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer hostage could have been an FBI entrapment, a defense attorney suggested Tuesday for one of six men charged with conspiracy to kidnap.

Scott Graham, who is representing 26-year-old Kaleb Franks, argued in court there was no real plan to capture Whitmer. Instead, he said the accused were merely acting as “militia wannabees” who engaged in “big talk between crackpots,” according to the Detroit Free Press. In other words, Graham said, those charged in a plot to kidnap Whitmer were “people who talk a lot … but are never going to do anything.”

Then too the FBI has a history of doing exactly that, as I pointed out either in this thread or another, and that the timing here was beyond suspicious....that this was intended to be a GET TRUMP operation from the jump by the looks of it.

There's a big difference between militia wannabes and capable militia members. There are plenty of ex-military members in militias that probably could have pulled off the kidnapping of a governor. If any governor deserved that fate, it would be Whitmer. Her extreme lockdown tactics have literally killed people that needed medical treatment, and even some on the left are taking her to court.

One alleged “right-winger” hates Trump, another is a BLM protester

It turns out Brandon Caserta, one of the anarchists who was arrested for plotting to kidnap Whitmer, actually hates President Trump and is on video calling Trump a “tyrant.”

A second “rightwing” militia member, 23-year-old Daniel Harris from Lake Orion, Michigan, attended at least one Black Lives Matter protest and was sympathetic to George Floyd.

A LinkedIn page corresponding to Harris in that small Detroit-area town lists his current occupation as “security guard,” but indicates he served as a rifleman in the U.S. Marine Corps until last year.

An individual of that name was quoted complaining about excessive use of force by police and alluding to his background at an anti-racist protest in Lake Orion in June.

“It is a shame what happened with George Floyd and instances where law enforcement officers murder an unarmed man who isn’t resisting arrest, was complying with the orders is wrong and need to be stopped. You look at photos and videos of news teams and protesters being beaten by riot police when they are there peacefully, you see people losing their eyes because if an officer shoots them with a ‘non-lethal’ round like pepper balls, or rubber bullets,” Harris said.

And if they were planning and prepping would have done a lot more than the FBI claims this bunch did. This is a farce from front to back and yet look at how power lies to us.
