Man Catches COVID-19 A Second Time, And It's More Severe.

This is the first known case of this happening in the US and the fifth worldwide.

Pretty low odds, if true.

BTW, you "forgot" to mention this:

"He has now recovered".

And this:

"Scientists said the patient caught the coronavirus on two separate occasions, rather than the original infection bouncing back after becoming dormant. This is because a comparison of the genetic codes showed “significant differences” between each variant associated with each instance of infection."

Hello Jack,

Let's hope there is a 'herd immunity'. It will be better for everybody.

We are so far away from that.

Wrong thing to strive for at this point. Only 1 in 41 Americans has had this disease.

That may happen eventually, but not if people can get the disease more than once.

There is no guarantee of immunity.

This is a novel virus.

We don't know everything about it yet. It's brand new.

My Theory is that the COVID-19 is less severe in Asia is because they have been through these types of Viruses before. They seem to have developed a 'herd immunity'.

Hello Jack,

.
Absolutely false. There's no way of knowing how many had it without testing for antibodies which very few have done. This would be correct : 1 in 41 have tested positive of those that have had tests.
I suspect a much higher percentage have had it and never knew it making it even less lethal than what it is now, which isn't very much at all.

"...fever, headache, dizziness, cough, nausea, and diarrhea."
Yeah, these are the usual symptoms...any combination of them. The first time he probably very very mild symptoms.
Also says that he recovered (also usual).
Also says "no KNOWN underlying immune problems".
In April, then in June. As has been reported more recently by scientists that now the virus itself has weakened in cases.

Get over it.

I didn't forget to mention anything. Stop with your damn agenda. You're lucky I'm not pussy enough to ban you entirely from my threads.

Hello Michael_Panetta,

Scary.

Everyone needs to take COVID precautions seriously.

I am so tired of people who want to get too close, diss mask-wearing.

What's wrong with these people? They are on the side of the disease and against humanity.

Wrong side of the War!

5 people in the whole world..yup super scary:laugh:
