Where are these buffoons going to stop? And when are Democrats going to start laughing them off of the television sets? Seriously, just laugh these clowns off of tv. Instead, they actually take these buffoons seriously.

Unbelievable. If Mark Twain were alive today he'd kill himself because he never could have made this stuff up.

Wurzelbacher, who became a household name during the presidential election, will be focusing his talk on the proposed stimulus package. He’s apparently not a fan of the economic rescue package, according to members of the group.

If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.

“In case you weren’t planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!” Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.

Somehow, I have trouble picturing how a room full of people listening to the person who came up with this idea didn't burst into laughter and fire him. I guess I just have too much faith in America.

The House of Representatives was designed by our Founding Fathers to represent the interests of the common man, such as Joseph Wurzelbacher. Unfortunately, many elitists (on both sides) have come to view it as a club exclusively for the educated and powerful...

The question here is, what would be the intelligence level of the target audience for this gimmick? After all, what else is "Joe the Plumber" but a gimmick?

The would have to believe they were targeting people with an IQ of about 50.

Apparently the audience was Congressional Republican staffers, people that spent the better part of their young lives regurgitating Republican orthodoxy, going to the rights colleges, grad schools and law schools to get gigs as Republican congressional staffers only to end up working for some dipshit Senator or Rep. that doesn't know his ass from his elbow but somehow managed to get elected that now wants them to listen to a Joe (Sam) the Plumber('s apprentice) talk about economics.
 
What on Earth were these deluded fools thinking by inviting Joe the Plumbers to espouse his latest theories on the efficacy of fiscal stimulus plans?

This only shows how far the Republican Party has sunk.

Moreover, anybody with an iota of common sense knows that Tito the Builders was the obvious choice for this gig.
