Navy Cmdr. Dr. Sean Conley acknowledged that he had tried to present a rosy picture

"I was trying to reflect the upbeat attitude of the team, that the president, that his course of illness has had. Didn't want to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction," Conley said. "And in doing so, came off like we're trying to hide something"

"It's been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about COVID," Trump said, standing in his hospital room in a video posted on social media. "I learned it by really going to school."

He added, "I get it, and I understand it."

At least one medical professional inside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where Trump has been hospitalized since Friday evening, questioned whether Trump had really learned anything.

"Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential 'drive-by' just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity," Dr. James P. Phillips, an attending physician at Walter Reed, tweeted.

I heard Trump on CNN video say that he getting a great reports from doctors. The word GREAT is word that Trump usually uses when he's BSing.

Does this have a familiar ring to it.

Refreshing compared to the death mongering snowflakes.

Your worship an egotistical media whore. A *real* leader would have addressed the nation via broadcast, assured them that he's doing better, has a fine medical team on board, and asked Americans to take this seriously. He would have apologized for being wrong, urged them to follow safety protocols including wearing masks and avoiding crowded venues. He would have informed us that the government is not in trouble and that all is well with US -- not just HIM.

But nope, your Mango Messiah had to take a fake victory lap around the hospital, endangering everyone who came close to his physical self, just so that he could lap up the adoration and worship.

You are some really sick people. You have the "leader" you deserve. Thank the gods that we're going to rectify that mistake in four weeks.
