Sure it was.The test for this is what he does with the money he makes from the deal.
There aren't too many celebs who do more for charity & give more than Springsteen.

We'll see what he does with these evil corporate profits then. There aren't too many celebs who do more for charity & give more than Springsteen.
Yeah, because Franken couldn't be considered an "actor"...![]()
Don't forget about actors in places other than Hollywood.Do some math. Percentage of liberals in hollywood vs the percentage of republicans. and the ratio at which they run for and/or get elected to national office.

I know Eastwood was elected to office, but as a Libertarian. Thompson became an actor after his stint as a Senator, not before. Reagan we all know, but he was a far better politician than actor. Who else is there? Ah. Schwarzenegger. I can't forget Schwarzenegger...
We got Sonny Bono, and Franken on the left... Each party seems to be attracted to fame, including the Libertarians.
Hmm... I thought he became an actor afterward. And Eastwood was definitely listed as a Libertarian when he became mayor.Actually Thompson was in the Senate from 1994 to 2003, but began acting in 1985, so that's wrong. Eastwood might call himself a LIbertarian, but in fact, he was "elected as" a Republican.
Regardless, Republican actors enter politics far more frequently than liberal actors do, so BF was right, and even though your post is factually wrong (as usual), it still did not dispute that.

Shoot, he even took swipes at the major parties during interviews.

I'm good with that. I never voted for him. Although I would have voted for Reagan if I were old enough. I would have voted for Eastwood too. As far as I understand it he was quite capable as a Mayor and I like his politics. No, he was a registered Republican. I don't know what "listed as" means. I said, he definitely says he is a libertarian, but that doesn't change the facts. He sounds almost like a not a republican republican, you might know the type?
No, Thompson definitely acted before he starred as a cowboy in a red pickup truck by day, mercedes by night, Senator. I had to look that one up because I was certain I had read he had been acting for many years.
Cool 'nuff. So far the only one I dislike is Thompson, but that's because of his emphasis on the religious end of conservatism to the detriment of the parts I find important. So if teh LIBERAL HOLLYWOOD is 80% liberal (conservative estimate) but more actors are elected as Republicans then you have your answer.
Answer = Republicans look to hollywood types to lead them at a higher rate than liberals.
I disagree about Reagan, agree about Schwarzenegger. But that doesn't change my question, what other type of R could get elected there?I'm not saying it is embarrassing, I'm just refuting someones statement. But Reagan and Schwartzenneger were/are bad

Reagan " oh I got hundreds of Marines killed in Beirut...lets run away like faggot cowards"....
Not every thing he did was perfect. But again, he's responsible for freeing millions in Eastern Europe. Few can claim that.Dealing drugs? Iran Contra?
But I can see why Republicans idolize him. He did prove that big defecits do not matter.

He also showed that lowing taxes raises revenues.
It wouldn't have happened, Carter had no plans to lower taxes and the fall of the Soviet Union would have happened later without Gorby, Reagan and (of all people) the Pope...That woulda happened regardless and either way doesn;t give him an excuse
