I don’t know about that.

But there is some evidence the HCQ *cocktail* has efficacy against COVID when administered early in the infection. Trump is almost certainly early. It just hasn’t gone through an RCT.

Why wait for that when it can’t hurt to take it?

This is what he said back in May. I guess we can say it's not a preventative.

Yes, I am. And if trump was taking HCQ because he thought it would help prevent Covid, he was wrong. Only time will tell if he took the cocktail and if it worked.

In some situations it can hurt to take it. Contra indicated with some medication that I doubt Trump* is on, and can cause heart attacks.

He should take a HCQ cocktail with a Lysol chaser. Yeah, that should work just fine.

Qanon is already releasing conspiracy theories that the Dems spiked Donald mini-strokes Trump's microphone with COVID-19 during the debate.

There is no proof that it can't hurt to take it.

There could be unwanted side effects.
 
If he does take Hydroxy, and then he dies of a heart attack, that will hurt the argument for usage.

There have been reports of patients getting irregular heart beats after taking the drug.
