Judge Amy Barrett - the new face of feminism

The one providing the largest amount of outrage are the ones that know a 6-3 right leaning Court will establish the basis for decisions that will be around until their grandchildren are old and gray.

And their shining star Ginz is responsible for it !
The irony is delicious !

The funny part is those whining the most know what I posted is true. What's funnier to me is they know they can't do anything about it.

I had a college professor that said the one and only reason he picked the candidate for President he did was who that person was going to appoint to the courts. Not just the SCOTUS but all federal courts since most cases never reach the top.

Did you read that Politico article? As for the allegation that she belongs to a cult well that's just plain wrong.

https://misbar.com/en/factcheck/2020/09/26/amy-coney-barrett-is-not-a-member-of-a-cult

Yes, I read the Politico article and no, I never heard of misbar. I call People of Praise a cult; you can call it an offshoot, a sect or whatever. My whole point is to inform people here that PoP is not part of mainstream Catholicism. Cons are claiming that libs will attack her Catholicism and that's a flat-out lie. People can question her about PoP to try and determine if her membership in the group will in any way inform her decisions on the court. Maybe you're forgetting how people question and criticize those members of Congress who are Muslims so why is it different for PoP?

They don't question members of Congress for being Muslim. Questions are asked when their Muslim beliefs are contrary to the fundamental principles of the country.

No one gives a fuck what you consider PoP. Your opinion is irrelevant since you won't be one of the Senators voting on confirmation. Just like a lefty to think his/her opinion matters when they don't as a person.

DEMOCRATS cannot prevent the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, DEMOCRAT whip Sen. Dick Durbin admits.

The second-ranking DEMOCRAT in the Senate has admitted that they are powerless to stop the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

We can slow it down perhaps a matter of hours, maybe days at the most,' he told George Stephanopoulos.

'But we can't stop the outcome.'

Lindsey Graham, the chair of the Judiciary Committee, said that the vote to confirm Barrett will be held on October 22. :readit:

Yeah. Why should someone from a 'Jim Jones-type People's Temple' be excluded from serving on the Supreme Court?
I'm sure Amy 'Crazy Eyes' Barrett wouldn't put 'God's Law' over 'Man's Law' (the US Constitution).

And ... probably no one else is qualified for this position.

Doesn't look like you've read the Misbar fact check either.

Amy Coney Barrett is Not a Member of a Cult
The Claim

President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett is a member of a cult.

Emerging story

Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett is a member of a Christian organization called People of Praise, which formerly referred to its female leaders as “handmaids.” In late September 2020, many on social media and several news sources claimed that Margaret Atwood’s novel The Handmaid’s Tale is based on People of Praise, and that People of Praise is a cult.

Like I said many times, I'm trying to show that PoP is not part of mainstream Catholicism and those saying ACB's Catholicism will be under attack are lying. Nobody AFAIK attacked Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Sonia Sotomayor and Chief Justice John Roberts for being Catholic because they also didn't belong to groups like PoP. Furthermore nobody knows if PoP will even be brought up in the hearings but it probably will be since some of their teachings conflict with law.

I am waiting until the hearings to form an opinion of ACB. For the record she's a strong opponent of the Affordable Care Act and that's worrisome. You have criticized the US because we don't have universal healthcare so how does her opinion on the ACA square with your beliefs?

Why should anyone believe you when you equate PoP and the Peoples' Temple?

She will be confirmed and there is a damn thing you can do about is there, boy?

I'd force-feed the bitch with some cinnabar and watch her slowly succumb to mercury poisoning. Only a total fool would call herself after such a toxic mineral.

Cinnabar, mercury sulfide, is the most toxic mineral to handle on Earth. The name itself means dragons blood. Cinnabar is the main ore of mercury. Forming near volcanos and sulfur deposits, the bright red crystals signal danger. Cinnabar may release pure mercury if disturbed or heated, causing tremors, loss of sensation and death. In the Middle Ages and late 1700s, being sent to work in Spanish mines containing cinnabar formations was considered a death sentence. Cinnabar was used widely in China for ornamental food dishes. Some ancient medical practitioners believed cinnabar held healing powers, prescribing it for certain conditions.

Prevention is worth a pound of cure. First, avoid exposures to toxic minerals by identification and avoidance. If exposure occurs, seek medical attention as soon as possible. Many of the toxic elements that are found in toxic minerals are subject to chelation, which means that the toxic elements can be bound to or otherwise disabled, followed by elimination from the body

Cinnabar is a perfume by Estee Lauder.

You're a fucking liar. You've already formed you opinion.

Anyone with good sense should be an opponent of Obamacare.

Newsweak magazine has issued a major correction to an article smearing potential Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, accusing the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals judge of belonging to a Catholic sect that “inspired” the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

Initially, Newsweak claimed that “People of Praise,” a Catholic group to which Barrett reportedly belongs, “served as inspiration for Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel, The Handmaid’s Tale,” adding that female members are forced to report to spiritual superiors known as “handmaids” and that the group stresses that “men have authority over their wives.”

“Members of People of Praise are assigned to personal advisers of the same sex — called a ‘head’ for men and ‘handmaid’ for women, until the rise in popularity of Atwood’s novel and the television series based on it forced a change in the latter,” the leftist propaganda panderers panted. “Atwood herself has indicated that the group’s existence motivated her to write The Handmaid’s Tale, set in the fictional Gilead, where women’s bodies are governed and treated as the property of the state under a theocratic regime.”

The problem?

It turns out Newsweak’s story is actually completely wrong based on information from Atwood herself, which Newsweak admitted in its “correction.”

“Correction: This article’s headline originally stated that People of Praise inspired ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’. The book’s author, Margaret Atwood, has never specifically mentioned the group as being the inspiration for her work,” the note read. Newsweak regrets the error.”

I don't believe them.

The false Newsweak story that had be corrected spread to leftist propaganda pushers everywhere even after the correction.

And the so-called "fact checkers" are MIA.

Exactly. And its superb that DJT made a priority of appointing a record number. The ninth circus is back to ninth circuit.

"Barrett was a paid speaker five times, starting in 2011, at the Blackstone Legal Fellowship, a summer program established to inspire a “distinctly Christian worldview in every area of law,” tax filings show. It was founded to show students “how God can use them as judges, law professors and practicing attorneys to help keep the door open for the spread of the Gospel in America.” "

No, but frankly I don't see how universal healthcare could work in the US. There are just too many vested interests.
