Susan McDougal's suit against Tucker Carlson was thrown out in part because of this.

Fox persuasively argues, see Def Br. at 13-15, that given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer “arrive with an appropriate amount of skepticism” about the statements he makes.

One does have to wonder if Fox News has any reasonable viewers based on how they all seem to believe everything Tucker says.

I haven't been able to find the referenced Defense Brief to see how Fox framed the quote. If anyone finds it, post a link here.

And there you have it. What most of us already knew, Tucker is a liar, and you must be skeptical about everything he says.

Well, since there's no such thing as a "reasonable Fox News viewer", this declaration makes no sense and all the sense simultaneously.

FOX News, the most watched and the most trusted cable news in America.

If you watched it, you would’ve be so ignorant.

Carlson's show is opinion on the news, not the news. This goes for 99% of the other similar shows on FOX, MSNBC, HLN, and CNN. They foist their opinion on things to viewers.

Do the people watching Tucker know that?

Do the people watching say Don Lemon know that?

That aside, it doesn't matter. Carlson and Lemon are both commentators offering opinion. Its up to you, the viewer, to make what you will of what they say.

^Clueless dumbass doesn't know the difference between a TALK show host and a news show.

Bottom line, the judge basically said her lawsuit was a frivolous pile of stupid wasting the courts time.
:palm:

I thought no one watched CNN? Weren't you just cheerleading Tucker's ratings earlier?

But again do the people who watch Carlson know that? Doesn't seem like it, does it?

And isn't that really cynically lazy; to sit there and spread bullshit and put the onus on the viewer to determine whether what you're saying is true?

Seems like a lowering of the bar and a race to the bottom. So it's no surprise you're right there with it, being the bottom-feeding ratlicker you are.

 Don't expect shrill, low IQ leftists who parrot the stupidity they are fed, to understand this.

That is their slogan.

But merely saying you are something does not make it so.

Do you mean I wouldn't be so ignorant?

Way to self-own, brainiac.

You should try watching it once in a while LyingVagina426. You might sound less like a shrill, triggered, low IQ moron on steroids.

So, we learned that Tucker is not a news reader but a pundit voicing his *opinion* lol.

This is an earth shaking development. Earth shaking, I tell you.

OK so his opinion is not always 100% factual? is that it?
He doesn't represent himself as a news source like Fake News does = what the problem?
