I think the basic principle is it allows the heart and lungs to ‘rest’ by taking blood from the body; oxygenating it, then pumping it back in. That’s basically what artificial ‘perfusion’ is.

I don’t understand the mechanism in terms of what causes the damage to the lungs with COVID intubations. I’ve heard it causes irreversible damage. And intubation was killing a lot of people early in the game.

DuKKKha fails to understand that he has no medical education. I don't claim to have a medical education either, but I know he lacks one. He has nothing to contribute to medical research. It is pathetic that he pretends to be a medical expert.

And it is what is causing the first wave of Covid-19 not to end in the USA. Every other first world country has defeated the first wave of Covid-19, except the USA. The problem is we have people like DuKKKha overruling the medical experts, and it is not going well.

There is no ‘one wave/first wave’ in a country such as ours: too diverse, too spread out; too large. So you’re basically beating the straw out of your lame straw man.

Europe is more diverse than we are, and they were able to defeat the first wave. They are not even one country, and yet they were able to do it. China defeated the first wave, and they are bigger and more diverse than America.

Trying to redefine the first wave away is not going to work. trump has failed to stop the first wave, while everyone else in the first world did it months ago. That is months that we are following behind the rest of the world economically. trump is a "YUGE" failure.

They are also experiencing the second wave in several countries. But hey, here in WV ‘the wave’ finally, arrived, finally. You might have a point about China but I don’t even want to think of some of their ‘mitigation and isolation’ schemes.

What are going to see—and in fact, what we’re actually seeing it, is a progression or waves that effect different regions of the country.

Btw, our WV numbers spiked, inexplicably, in spite of the fact our mask mandate has been in place for months. There’s zero correlation between masks and numbers in WV. Zilch. Nada.

Care to explain that?

Why is the first wave still hitting West Virginia? Care to explain why West Virginia has worse numbers than San Francisco? One is a city, and the other is extremely rural.

Clearly, trump's policy has failed. The rest of the first world has fought back the first wave, and the USA has not. Using that failure as proof of anything other than failure is PATHETIC.

Thats why blacks die at a higher rate too.
The modern lifestyle is what it is.
All the deaths are unfortunate but largely cant be seen as unexpected.
