Socks are allowed on this forum and some members abuse the privilege. Therefore being accused of being a sock is common on JPP.

I, for one, don't have any socks and have allowed any mod you ask to verify it since they know the IP addresses of members. The downside is that people can have VPNs, for a price, but that presents a clue about always changing IP addresses, another indication of being a sock.

I could be wrong. Maybe an IT expert can jump in and verify.
