Then what exactly do janitors and like workers do exactly, chores?
You missed the point. If the only skills someone has are those that would be considered chores outside of the workplace, one should not be expected to make a high wage.

Well, that's true. And you might be suprised--or not-- that there are some who are so useless their only purpose is to be an example of what not to do... Paying someone to randomly screw things up is rarely a useful skill.
Lots of people do that. Many that offer marketable and valuable skills make lots of money doing that. Many that offer a skill set that's on the same level as what most teenagers can do don't make much nor should they.
It becomes begging when the wage you're requesting is above what you offer in return and you want it "just because". If all those demanding a living wage were as good at what they do as they want to be paid, have them start their own companies and be the boss. It's lot of work and it damn sure requires more than 35 hours/week but the results, if done right, are wonderful.
Can you provide names of all these employees. I need to verify your claims.
ls it their purpose or it is that they simply can't do any better? Sometimes it hard to tell whether or not someone screwed up because they didn't want to get asked to do anything again or because they are stupid.
Show the proof
it's happening. can you prove they're really trying hard to fill every position? of course they manipulate the labor market. it's naive of you to not consider it.
Your telling me isn't proof. I dont doubt anything can be manipulated I just need more then someone's belief as evidence for it.
I've hired unskilled help a lot over the years as day labor. There are some people that are just too stupid to even do simple jobs. One guy was hired to assist in general painting. Fired him within an hour because he was creating a bigger mess than anything. How can you be so stupid you can't use a paint brush? Or on a cable pull and you have to keep telling some of the help to lift and carry the cable bundle, not drag it so they won't damage the insulation. These are simple tasks and they usually get $10 an hour cash for doing them (with taxes etc., that's close to a $14 an hour pay rate).
Some people are just really stupid. It can't be helped it seems.
You don't need to verify shit.
You're not seeing the larger picture here. Capitalism is broken and our species is stuck in a grind that benefits the few over the many. Good luck when all the unskilled trash collectors go on strike for better wages so they can feed their families properly.
Your stories have been dismissed as fiction.
Capitalism isn't broken. It's brought more people out of poverty than any other system that's ever existed. The system isn't broken because you failed within it just like a car isn't broken if you dumbass fails to put gas in the tank.
Where I live, we don't have curbside trash collection. If I choose, I can pay a capitalist based private company or continue to do what I've done and carry it to work and put it in the dumpster.
CFM, I'm an old man and confident that if I do not die unexpectedly sooner, within my lifetime the purchasing power of the federal minimum wage rate will be substantially increased beyond its peak February -1968 value, thereafter annually monitored and be adjusted to retain that achieved value. Employers my then choose to pay the rate for those "chores", or invest in the developing, purchasing, maintaining and upgrading of devices to perform those chores, or the employers could do their own chores while their enterprise's competitors drive them out of business.Or sweeping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning the toilets. When I was kid, those things weren't considered jobs but chores.

Regardless of what individual employers then decide, the USA will, (as it always has) economically and socially benefitted from the increases of the federal minimum wage rate. Respectfully, Supposn
I'm certainly not a failure. I have a decent-paying job, I have a nice house, my IRA is worth a lot, and I'm only thirty.
But here's the funny thing. You know how you claimed that having skills means you'll earn more? Maybe my situation is unusual, but I earn more as a manager in a warehouse than I did as a welder or as a mechanic. Car mechanics are always in demand, yet the pay is awful unless you snag an elite job at BMW or something. Same with welding (not to mention the health hazards).
Lol. Go look on Indeed at the reviews from people who've worked at Adidas and Chewy and Amazon. You'll see literally thousands of people with similar stories. Sorry if the truth hurts your narrative.
CFM, you’re correct; I do not do that. Is that what you do? Respectfully, SupposnYou don't economically benefit by paying someone more than they're worth and teaching them that all they have to do whine to get a raise.
