The only two good things about a recession is that it removes the failed companies that bog down the economy, and it is an excellent time to invest. With the massive corporate bailouts, failed companies are doing as well as productive companies, and the stock market is being propped to such insane heights that there are no good investment opportunities.

None of this is good news.

Yes. It's made quite a recovery. I expected it to dive down for a bit here, but it will keep going up as it has been lately and will likely surpass 30K before the election...
