20% is the magic number. And by that I mean a solid 20%, not a wishy washy temporary 20%

MAN I wish I could find this excellent article about when the democrat party officially but quietly flip flopped on illegal aliens. It was during or after Clinton's time I think. It was a great article.

And this is the reason: They foresaw what we are seeing now with blacks moving to the GOP, and illegals are their new source of voters.

I encourage you and everyone here to research that and post about it.

“A lot of people don’t talk about the fact that the criminal justice reform is something that many Black Americans thought President Obama would tackle. He failed to do that,” Klacik said on Sunday. “He didn’t even attempt to do it.”
In Dec. 2018, President Trump signed a sweeping criminal justice reform bill, marking a major legislative victory on an issue that garnered bipartisan support. The decisive passage marked a win for Trump as well as his senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who advocated for the bill in the face of some conservative resistance.

The First Step Act g
ave federal judges more leeway when sentencing some drug offenders and boosted prisoner rehabilitation efforts. It also would reduce life sentences for some drug offenders with three convictions, or "three strikes," to 25 years.

Klacik pointed to The First Step Act on Sunday saying, “We have a lot of people that have been incarcerated and they were incarcerated during the tech boom.”

TRUMP VOWS TO WORK WITH KIM KLACIK TO 'BRING BALTIMORE BACK'

“What they need is skills and training when they come out because they can actually apply then for careers, not just jobs and that’s what we need in the area, we need careers,” she said.

She also noted that President Trump is “doing much more with ‘Opportunity Zones.’”

We’re done with the pandering,” she continued. “We saw many major cities paint Black Lives Matter on the streets. We don’t want just paint on the streets, we want careers, we want opportunity and we want equality and I think people are understanding that you’ll get that from President Trump rather than what we had in the past.”

20% is the magic number.
where do you get that number from?
I'm hoping maybe low double digits (13-14) and the polls are showing that is possible

Blacks are wedded to Dems though - think this might be the year some at least break away.
Which would be great for blacks -then Dems would actually have to help them to keep their majority

"....Even 20 percent African-American support for Trump would all but dismantle Democratic Party presidential hopes for 2020...."

You should read it. Politico is no friend of Trump for sure so they are not padding the numbers.

If it is, why do you need to shove obvious truths down everyone's throats...

It's like using "clearly" in persuasive writing. If something is clear, saying it is is superfluous.
You are just hammering your Trump is doing awesome on all fronts message and that telegraphs that it is anything but true.

You are obviously retarded so let me assist you:

Trump got 8% of the black vote in 2016 and now he is president.

Since then there has been a mass Exodus of blacks leaving the party of socialism and coming to the GOP.

Some polls have indicated that Trump's approval rating among black voters is close to 20 percent. That is far higher than the 8 percent of the African-American vote that Trump received on Election Day 2016. A recent, admittedly controversial Rasmussen Reports poll showed African-American approval of Trump at 36 percent.

Here is the key: Even 20 percent African-American support for Trump would all but dismantle Democratic Party presidential hopes for 2020. Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election with 88 percent of the black vote. That was about a six-point falloff from Barack Obama's share of the black vote in 2012.

But far more importantly, an estimated 2 million of the African-American voters who cast ballots for Obama in 2012 simply did not show up at the polls in 2016 to vote for the off-putting Clinton.
