If we wait a while I'm sure one of our JPP Acme Instant Epidemiology Experts(tm) like Darth or GrayJunk will come along with totally credible links to blogs informing us that the vast majority of physicians and other experts are wrong about masks.

Masks and respirators do not work.

There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.

Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, which I review, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would be a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.

Well, that’s it, a letter to the editor in something called the “River City Reader” proves masks don’t work, and I’m sure if one looked hard enough they’d also find some similar “proof” out there that distancing doesn’t work either, the Internet makes it easy to promote a false paradigm

I’ll go with the medical professions on the front line, there has to be a reason they not only recommend them but are seen wearing them everywhere they go

The protesters outside of the White House were not social distancing and were touching each other.

We’re they the leaders of the country? We’re they the ones America looked to for guidance and direction in a crisis? We’re they invited by the President, the same President who at one time said masks were good, and who is advised by his own medical staff that masks are helpful?

They did luck out in that it appeared to be breezy.

And there was a lot of hot air which rises quickly and away from people.

They might get away without having some major news story in a few weeks about some attendee who came up positive...

There were some defiant ones who did wear masks.

That must have been weird. They had some nerve to sit there with masks on in that crowd.

I noticed one major black Republican did not speak during the convention: Herman Cain.

The vast majority of doctors and scientists say masks work. There have been countless studies and lab experiments verifying it . They work. There are always outliers who deny science an think that shows they are smarter. It shows the opposite. European scientists do not face the anti science people we do. They know masks work and the people's respect for them and their following the mask requirements had dropped their corona levels far below ours. America is so proud of its stupidity. We seem to honor it.
