do any of the present meanings have concrete philosophies? if they are ever changing, then of what value are present day meanings? i don't think we should argue in absolutes (the 100% i was referring to), rather in more general ideas.

Capitalism and socialism are both concrete philosophies, and both the logical ends to conservatism and liberalism as currently defined by their respective political movements.

I'm glad. I felt so bad when I saw how emotional he got over his negative rep points.

fair enough, i don't agree, but i do see your point and really we would go in circles about this.

for example: one could argue islam is all about conservatism....islam is not about capitalism...

What you perceive as emotion is in fact my desire to engage in a higher level of conversation which you and your friend have proven incapable of.

My description of the two philosophies is limited to fiscal policy in the US of A.
