WE ARE AT WAR and moderates could lose this election AGAIN

Terri a Truth Inflector sock? Seems like the same volume.
I have them both on ignore. Usually, if you have someone on ignore, the sock automatically goes on ignore. I think I had to manually do Teri moments after the account was created.

Yes. But they don't understand the concept of baby steps. The youth, that is. John Lewis saw so much positive change in his life, but also saw that we aren't getting closer to 'good' under this moron in the White House. Can you imagine his satisfaction in '08?

Those who refused to vote because they 'aren't happy' in '16, helped to send us right back to the 1950s. Do they see their folly, or do they not care?

I'm trying to be careful here given that you are among people here that I do not wish to offend even unintentionally. We go a long way back. In fact I think my daughter just entered the military as a private, now she's about to retire as a Master Sergeant after 20 years. Amazing.

With regards to your post, we are at war good sister. No time for baby steps, and given the seriousness of where we are today, obviously baby steps didn't work. We have a government that not only sanctions racism, it also sanctions murder. I hear you about John Lewis and I agree that he must have been quite satisfied ... but I was not. It takes more than a black face and eloquent speeches for me. I was glad to see a black president
but I knew Obama was not going to address many critical issues that plague our communities and this nation. His destruction of Libya was a crime against humanity and it seriously distressed me to see this destruction come at the hands of a black president.

From my perspective, I do not blame people who vote their conscience for what occurs after the vote. Hillary and Bill Clinton, along with Biden, destroyed lots of black communities and families. I voted for both Clinton's, was I wrong? Should I blame myself for not having the foresight to look into their souls and see the horror I was voting for with Bill Clinton? Indeed I do.

Don't know if you read or remember a piece I wrote called The Eyes of Viola Liuzzo, whom I met as a teenager one day ... 3 days later I see her face on TV, murdered by racists. She was white and she died for her belief that all are created equal. I'm still haunted by her courage and piercing eyes to this day, Her death as well as the deaths of countless others who were murdered for following their conscience forever solidified my course of standing for what I believe.

That stand and belief in conscience is far more apparent in progressives than in moderates who seem to believe more in what other people say about them then what they say about themselves. Too many democrats care more about what republicans think and say about them. when republicans don't give one damn about what democrats think or what they say about them, That's why republicans are stronger and can control the politics even when they are in the minority. Far too many wimpy democrats,

The house is on fire and we are at war with a violent Rightwing and a capitulating American people. Progressives are right about not being patient with evil. They refused to vote because they DEMAND change,

Rights are not determined by what is fair, honest, equitable, or what Jesus would do. Rights are determined by what you can DEMAND.

progressives need to stop being scared of white america..............let them loose

My brother, evil prospers because good people do nothing.
And that is why we have rioting and looting by evil people.

People are being attacked, brutalized, and murdered almost daily. To answer your question, the current situation is untenable. Completely untenable. If democrats are too weak to fight it, or too consumed by their own issues, then we need to look further and much deeper for solutions.
Blacks have more to fear from other blacks than they do from the police.
